Pardada Pardadi UK is a British-based charity founded in May 2016. We support and fundraise for Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES), an Indian NGO that aims to socially uplift and economically empower girls and women in the rural Indian province of Anupshahr.

Founder (India)
Late Virender “Sam” Singh
Sam is the founder of Pardada Pardadi Educational Society. He was previously CEO of US-based company DuPont, and started Pardada Pardadi after taking early retirement to return back to his home of Anupshahr, Bulandshahr in the district of Uttar Pradesh.

Emma is an entrepreneur, and travel advisor at Emma Horne Travel. Emma specialises in designing tailor-made holidays to India and the Subcontinent

Anima Gupta Aggarwal
Anima has 20+ years experience across the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She has led multi-million dollar programmes across IT consultancy, and project/contract management. She has been on the board of charities focused on women, and social mobility in the UK. Anima became a supporter of Pardada Pardadi after visiting the school in 2017. She is also a co-founder of eShift Partner Network.

Suparna is a professional development executive coach, speaker and facilitator, working with Founders and C-suite executives across London, the Middle East and India. She has spoken at various professional networking events including Fortune 100 companies, Ellevate and BEI Network. She is also the founder and host of Rise with Confidence.

Fiona Marshall
Fiona has worked as an interior decorator for the last 40 years, including managing a Holiday Let business and currently working as a Director of a Management Company in London. Volunteering with Pardada Pardadi UK, she sees education for a girl in rural India as a life-changing gift.

Andrew Horne
Andrew is a retired successful business leader. In 2004, whilst MD of Xerox India, he met Sam Singh and got to learn about his vision. Since visiting the school, which he says “is an absolute must”, Andrew has been an active supporter of Pardada Pardadi on both a personal level and as a part of CSR programs.

Lizzie Twigger
Lizzie is Senior and In-house Counsel at Slaughter and May, and Chairs the Board of Trustees of the University House Legal Advice Centre. Lizzie has been involved with Pardada Pardadi UK since her first trip to India in 2016, where she volunteered at the school and saw first hand the impact of the education and community initiatives offered on girl’s lives.
