Pardada Pardadi Educational Society UK
Educating Girls, Transforming Communities
Charity number: 1166879
Welcome to Pardada Pardadi UK, a UK-based charity founded in May 2016. Pardada Pardadi UK supports and fundraises for Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES), an Indian NGO that aims to socially uplift and economically empower girls and women in the rural Indian province of Anupshahr. Pardada Pardadi achieves this through its four pillar program, detailed below.
“We stand for those for whom nobody stands and keep nurturing them till they achieve and enter the mainstream”
In Anupshahr, over 6000 families live below poverty line, with girls disproportionately affected due to entrenched patriarchal norms. In 2000, Pardada Pardadi was founded to tackle these issues by providing free education to rural girls. Through your help, Pardada Pardadi is now creating a new generation of self-reliant, independent girls, and helping break the generational poverty cycle.
Pardada Pardadi Founder, Virender “Sam” Singh
A holistic four pillar approach enables Pardada Pardadi to successfully combat socio-cultural expectations, and help break the poverty cycle.
